Toronto FC Equipment Drive a Success!
On Saturday, April 26th, Second Kicks teamed up with Toronto FC in the first annual "Play It Forward" equipment drive. Toronto FC publicized this event to their fans... and the fans responded. Over 1700 pieces of gently used equipment (shirts, boots, balls etc.) were collected, as well as nearly $500 to help pay for shipping this equipment to communities in need in Uganda, Kenya, and Botswana.
Thanks to Toronto FC fans and the Toronto FC team of volunteers that made this event such a success!
