Who We Are
Founded in 2004, Second Kicks is a non-profit charitable sports organization committed to helping communities in Canada and around the world with a love for soccer by collecting used soccer uniforms and equipment from the Toronto area and distributing to children, youths and families in economically disadvantaged communities.
In addition to the direct help being provided from the uniform collection, Seconds Kicks is also a way to engage the younger members of the community in a project that encourages them to help others. As well as participating in the drive, children and youth help on sorting day each year - proving community service hours for those in high school.
We operate at a grassroots level and work with established non-profit organizations to find suitable communities and to make certain that the uniforms and equipment are delivered efficiently. Interest from other clubs to contribute to our drive continues to grow each year. A volunteer board is in place to ensure that Second Kicks stays true to its original purpose.

Monica Beauregard, Shipping and Distribution
Monica is a co-founder of Second Kicks and came up with the idea as her own three children all played in the Leaside-East Toronto Soccer club and her cupboards starting filling up with soccer uniforms that were “used” but still in great shape. Monica is always on the lookout for better (and cheaper!) ways to get our uniforms to communities around the world and looks forward to reaching the 25 countries shipped to mark.
